Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Lead – APAC Region

Work Set-Up: Hybrid in Taguig (1–2 days/week onsite)

Salary Range: Up to PHP 130,000

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer Lead to drive data integration architecture and execution across enterprise-scale IT initiatives in the APAC region. This role will focus on designing scalable pipelines between client data sources and external platforms using SnapLogic Data Integration and Coalesce, while ensuring smooth collaboration across global teams, including EMEA and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead data integration design and implementation across multiple systems and data warehouses.

Build high-performance, reusable workflows using SnapLogic, Coalesce, Fivetran, and Snowflake.

Ensure data quality, transformation, curation, and enrichment processes are robust and scalable.

Collaborate with global teams and manage seamless handoffs across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

Participate in sprint reviews, planning meetings, and architecture discussions.

Enforce best practices in data integration, governance, documentation, and metadata-driven design.

Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning within the team.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and integration issues across regions.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in data engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

Strong experience with SnapLogic (Snowflake highly preferred).

Advanced proficiency in SQL.

Solid understanding of DW ETL/ELT tools.

Experience with Python and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong knowledge of REST APIs and real-time data streaming.

Proven track record of collaboration with global teams across APAC and Western time zones.

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in ETL/ELT tools, cloud architecture, or data engineering (e.g., SnapLogic, Snowflake, Coalesce, Fivetran).

Experience in large-scale IT project delivery within distributed environments.

Prior experience supporting handoffs between India, North America, and Europe-based teams.
