Job Title: Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer

Work Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC)

Work Set-up: On-site

Shift: Day Shift

Salary Range: Up to ₱170,000

About the Team

The Consumer Engineering (CE) team builds all consumer-facing experiences and is expanding its capabilities to power the next generation of AI-driven healthcare solutions. We are developing innovative platforms and frameworks designed to make healthcare simple, accessible, and personalized.

As a Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll play a key technical role in designing and building the core AI/ML systems that power these experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models and AI-powered systems (including LLM-based applications).

Participate in the full AI lifecycle—from brainstorming and prototyping to production deployment.

Architect and manage cloud infrastructure for AI systems using Infrastructure-as-Code.

Build reusable AI/ML components and frameworks to improve innovation and efficiency.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, impactful AI solutions.

Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and contribute innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement root-cause fixes.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on building and deploying AI/ML models and systems.

Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and model architectures.

Strong background in software design, data structures, and algorithms.

Proficiency with technologies such as Python, Node.js, Java, or Go, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, REST/WebSocket APIs, and modern databases.

Hands-on experience in LLM-based applications and production deployment.

Familiarity with machine learning domains such as NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendation Systems, and Anomaly Detection.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience building large-scale, consumer-facing applications.

Background in healthcare technology or regulated environments.

Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or personal SaaS projects.
