Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Lead – Asia-Pacific (APAC) Region

Category: ERP/CRM/Tools

Work Set-up: Hybrid – Taguig (1–2 days/week onsite)

Work Shift: Mid-shift

Salary Range: Up to ₱130,000

Experience Level: Senior (5+ years, with leadership experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer Lead to oversee data integration design and implementation across enterprise-scale IT initiatives. This role is based in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and involves close collaboration with teams in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and the Americas. The ideal candidate has strong SnapLogic expertise, leadership experience, and a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-performance data integration pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of data integration workflows across multiple systems and data warehouses.

Build scalable, reusable data pipelines using SnapLogic, Coalesce, Fivetran, and Snowflake.

Architect solutions for data extraction, transformation, quality enhancement, and curation.

Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless cross-regional handoffs and integration.

Participate in planning meetings, sprint reviews, and architecture discussions.

Champion best practices in data governance, metadata-driven approaches, documentation, and performance optimization.

Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning within the team.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance challenges across global environments.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

Strong expertise in SnapLogic (experience in Snowflake is highly advantageous).

Expert-level SQL skills.

Solid understanding of DW ETL/ELT tools.

Experience with Coalesce and FiveTran (preferred).

Hands-on experience with Python and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong knowledge of integration frameworks, REST APIs, and real-time data streaming.

Excellent communication skills with proven success in cross-cultural/global collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in ETL/ELT tools, data engineering, or cloud architecture (e.g., SnapLogic, Coalesce, Fivetran, Snowflake, Google Cloud).

Experience supporting large-scale IT projects across distributed teams.

Familiarity with regional handoffs between APAC, EMEA, and North America.
