Job Title: Senior SAP B1 Developer

Work set up: Taguig (1-2 days/week onsite)

Salary budget: 70,000-90,000

Non-negotiable:

• 5+ years in SAP B1 SDK (UI API, DI API)

• Experience in API development (REST/SOAP).

• Experience in ECC and HANA

• Proficient in programming languages: C#, VB.Net, and XML

• Solid skills in SAP HANA development, including SQL scripting, stored procedures, and view creation

• Should not be a job hopper who only stays for less than a year per company

• Must not be a present or former employee of CGI

Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP B1 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Business One SDK, integration frameworks, and SAP HANA development. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating SAP B1 solutions to support our business processes and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize SAP Business One using SAP B1 SDK (UI API, DI API) to deliver tailored solutions.

• Design and maintain integrations between SAP B1 and external systems using B1 Integration Framework (B1iF).

• Write and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views in SAP HANA to enhance reporting and data processing.

• Develop and consume APIs (REST, SOAP) for seamless data exchange with third-party applications.

• Utilize C#, VB.Net, and XML to build and enhance SAP B1 add-ons and automate business processes.

• Produce comprehensive technical documentation and maintain well-structured, commented source code.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize custom developments, integrations, and system performance.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure system stability, scalability, and compliance with best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience (> 5 years) with SAP B1 SDK (UI API, DI API).

• Proficiency in B1 Integration Framework (B1iF) for system integration.

• Solid skills in SAP HANA development, including SQL scripting, stored procedures, and view creation.

• Experience in API development (REST/SOAP).

• Proficiency in programming languages: C#, VB.Net, and XML.

• Ability to create detailed technical documentation and maintain clean, commented code.

• Experience in developing Add-Ons, customization, and integrating SAP B1 with other systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and system optimization skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience in ECC and HANA.

• Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.

• Must have a strong focus on customer needs.

• Must have analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.

• Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Works well with others and is a team player.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP Business One Add-On certification.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of other SAP modules or cloud platforms.

• Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
